SAVE THE ANIMALS: DO IT
NEW YEAR, NEW HOARD OF CLOTHES
THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE
I have an unhealthy obsession with wardrobes, and no, not just because I may one day travel to the magical land of Narnia. Now, I am not your average fashion blogger, I am not much into shopping, labels or trends but more so creating a beautiful world around me with my most loved possessions; clothes, hats, jewellery, books, magazines and odd pieces of furniture. I find myself spending a lot of time creating a beautiful sanctuary of these possessions in my bedroom and I find it amusing that all this time is spent for my eyes only.
It’s not just my own wardrobe though, I LOVE the thought of looking into someone else’s collection of worldly possessions. Someone should publish a book of photos looking into people’s closets. Style icons, musicians, models, ordinary people… Or better yet, someone should open a boutique with collections of vintage and new clothing, shoes, jewellery etc into different lavish walk in robes. Perhaps segmented into a particular individual’s style such as a 90’s Kate Moss wardrobe. It could include everything from evening gowns to cut off levi’s as well as jewellery boxes and racks of shoes. Now that would beat looking at endless racks of the same shiny new clothes in a department store.
